Engage Squared wins global ‘Modern Workplace – Frontline Workers’ Microsoft Partner of the Year award
Melbourne, Australia – 13 November 2025 – Engage Squared, today announced it has been named the global 2025 Microsoft Partner of the Year for ‘Modern Workplace – Frontline Workers’. This prestigious award celebrates Engage Squared’s leadership in delivering transformative solutions that empower frontline employees through the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
Selected from a global pool of over 4,700 nominations across 100 countries, Engage Squared stood out for its innovation, impact, and ability to drive meaningful change for organisations worldwide. The accolade underscores the company’s commitment to creating inclusive, connected workplaces that enhance productivity, communication, and engagement at scale through <people> friendly technology.
“Partners like Engage Squared are at the heart of driving digital transformation for our customers,” said Angus Florance of Microsoft. “Their innovative use of the Microsoft Cloud to enable frontline workers demonstrates what’s possible when technology is applied with purpose and impact.”
Over the past year, Engage Squared has successfully transitioned more than 400,000 frontline workers to Viva Engage, generating over one million posts and comments that foster collaboration and community. This achievement comes at a pivotal moment for enterprise social platforms, following Meta’s retirement of Workplace. While competition intensified with emerging players like Workvivo, Microsoft’s trusted security, seamless integration, and familiar user experience – anchored by Microsoft Teams – proved decisive with Viva Engage.
Through its partnership with Microsoft, Engage Squared has driven adoption of over 30,000 additional Microsoft Viva and F1 licences, accelerating digital transformation across some of Australia’s largest enterprises. Engage Squared has focused on reimagining work through Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Viva, delivering solutions that improve communication, task management, and wellbeing for frontline employees in sectors such as healthcare, retail, manufacturing, and essential services.
“We’re incredibly proud to be recognised by Microsoft on the global stage again,” said Stephen Monk, CEO of Engage Squared. “This award reflects our deep commitment to improving the employee experience for frontline workers – and the strength of our partnership with Microsoft and our customers. We get great joy deploying intelligent tools that connect people, streamline operations, and improve business outcomes. It’s a fantastic testament to the quality and impact of our work. What makes this recognition even more special is that it truly represents the collective effort of our entire organisation. Every part of our organisation contributed to this award, with our award submission highlighting the work of more than 60 team members across 25 customers in half a dozen countries.”
This is Engage Squared’s third Microsoft Partner of the Year win since 2021, previously being named the country Partner of the Year in 2021 and the global winner for Employee Experience in 2022. This recent award highlights Engage Squared’s ability to continually deliver scalable, people-first solutions when and where they matter most, helping organisations thrive in an era of rapid change.
