The awards are split into industry categories with organisations that have staff who are productive, creative, and focussed in the face of endless digital distractions, and those who are pioneering best-practices in areas such as wellbeing, flexibility, and equality.

Our Community & Culture program was formed during Covid, creating four key pillars to align with our values: supporting women in tech, LGBTQI+, mental and physical wellbeing and the recognition of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. It’s fantastic to see our efforts celebrated in the AFR Best Place to Work list and inspire other organisations to think about the changes they could make.

Step Two Intranet and Digital Workplace Awards

The Intranet and Digital Workplace Awards recognise outstanding contributions to the fields of intranets and digital workplaces. The awards uncover remarkable solutions that deliver business value globally.

Silver: 2021 Intranet and Digital Workplace Award

Impacting around 8,000 employees across Australasia, Origin’s intranet project was established following feedback from an employee engagement survey. Working closely with the team, we redesigned their intranet and moved it to SharePoint Online from on-prem, which saw the project win silver at the Step Two Intranet and Digital Workplace Awards.

Victorian service design award

The Victorian Premier’s Design Awards was established by the Victorian Government as an opportunity to highlight and celebrate local design capability. The awards provide an opportunity for businesses and the community to better understand the role of design in creating functional, safe, and efficient, products, services and spaces.

Winner: 2021 Best in Category – Service Design

Each year in Victoria, upwards of 7,000 briefings and 15,000 correspondence matters were manually created and managed across Victoria’s Department of Premier and Cabinet. As part of their mission to modernise old ways of working, we designed and delivered a digital briefing platform which we are elated won the best in category at the Victorian Premier’s Design Awards.
