We’ve launched our Perth office!
Helping Western Australian businesses respond to a pandemic was not part of the original plan when we considered establishing our Perth branch.
We recognised the way WA organisations are embracing digital transformation and wanted to share their experience working with enterprise and government across digital strategy, implementation, and adoption & change management. With a history of enabling people to connect, communicate and work more effectively by empowering employees with the knowledge, best practices and tools to create thriving digital workplaces, our entry into WA is an exciting expansion of our award winning agency.
Our CEO Stephen Monk said “We want all of Australia, not just the eastern states, to capitalise on the way technology can transform workplaces and improve the experience people have every day at work. Having a physical presence in WA shows our commitment to this goal and allows us to work more closely with its organisations; something that’s been brought into sharp focus with the recent restrictions on interstate travel.”
St John WA had asked Engage Squared to help with rolling out their Yammer enterprise social network to their staff and volunteers spread through WA. But when COVID-19 hit the changing nature of the crisis meant the decision was made to accelerate a planned 10-week Yammer launch program into just 7 days. The results overall for the new Yammer network have been impressive with early response rates of 88%, well above the global average of 46%1.
The pandemic also created potential issues for Catholic Education WA. They needed a way to keep the Principals of their 162 schools up to date with the rapidly changing situation. The Engage Squared team was able to support the communication effort with collaborative Microsoft Teams workspaces and training for key staff, and having the capacity to be onsite quickly was instrumental in delivering the desired outcomes.
Leading our Perth effort is Matt Dodd, a digital workplace expert who has spent the last few years shaping the digital employee experience at Bankwest; delivering an award-winning Yammer enterprise social network along the way. He’s now working with Western Australian organisations to build digital capability and experiences that transform how work is done.
“We had to hit the ground running in WA due to the pandemic, but we are now seeing organisations look beyond the initial remote working set up to review how they can get the best out of their people and technology moving forward” Matt said.
